What are mass payments?

Paying your affiliates can be a time-consuming task. Save time and effort by optimizing manual workflow with Post Affiliate Pro.

You don’t need to waste time each month paying individual affiliates one by one anymore. The extended functionality of Post Affiliate Pro allows you to set up an unlimited number of payment methods for your affiliates. You can then define your own export formats for each payment method.

By customizing your installation for payment processors or banks, you can provide great flexibility to your affiliate marketing platform.

Payout options

As we mentioned before, Post Affiliate Pro allows you to select an unlimited number of payout options in your affiliate management software. In each payout option, you can set up an unlimited number of fields that the affiliate advertiser will have to fill in if they would like to receive money using this payment option.

Exporting payout options can be fully customized. You can use predefined affiliate variables in addition to predefined payout methods.

Download mass payment files

After you have set payout methods and your affiliates have selected how they would like to receive their payout, you can pay all of your affiliate advertisers with just a few clicks by going to Payouts - > Pay Affiliates form.

Simply select the affiliates that you would like to pay and click on the button labeled “Paid.” You can then download the mass payment export file and pay all your affiliates at once.

Protecting your affiliates’ sensitive payment information is crucial. Post Affiliate Pro includes robust security features to ensure that payout data remains secure and protected from unauthorized access.

Payout Field Encryption

Post Affiliate Pro offers a Payout Fields Encryption feature that encrypts all payout field values stored in the database. This ensures that sensitive payment details such as bank account numbers, PayPal addresses, and other financial information are protected at rest.

Key features of payout field encryption:

• AES-CBC Encryption: All payout field values are encrypted using the industry-standard AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm in CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) mode
• Configurable Key Lengths: Supports 128-bit (16 characters), 192-bit (24 characters), or 256-bit (32 characters) encryption keys for varying security levels
• Initialization Vector (IV): Uses a 16-character initialization vector to ensure that identical data produces different encrypted outputs
• Automatic Encryption/Decryption: Data is transparently encrypted when saved and decrypted when retrieved, with no impact on user experience

Secure Storage of Payment Details

When the Payout Fields Encryption feature is enabled, all affiliate payment information is stored securely in the database:

• Database-Level Protection: Even if the database is compromised, the encrypted payout data remains unreadable without the encryption keys
• Transparent Operation: Affiliates and merchants interact with the system normally while encryption works behind the scenes
• Re-encryption Support: When encryption keys are changed, the system automatically re-encrypts all existing payout data with the new keys

Data Protection for Sensitive Payout Information

   • Choose a 256-bit (32-character) key for maximum security
   • Use a combination of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters
   • Never use predictable patterns or dictionary words

3. Secure Your Encryption Keys:

   • Store encryption keys separately from the database
   • Limit access to encryption configuration to trusted administrators only
